Exhibition Introduction
From March 2nd to 5th, 2025, the Malaysia Kuala Lumpur International Export Furniture Exhibition (EFE) was grandly held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre! The Malaysia International Export Furniture Exhibition is a highly influential event in the furniture industry and one of the professional furniture exhibitions in Southeast Asia. It has been a pioneer in the furniture trade field for many years. The exhibition has been successfully held for 17 consecutive years. This year marks the 18th edition. Its scale and influence have continued to rise, attracting high-quality buyers from over 140 countries around the world.
This exhibition is hosted by the Malaysian Furniture Association and supported by the Malaysian Timber Industry Board, the Malaysian Timber Council, the Malaysian Wood Merchants Association and other government and association organizations.
Market Introduction
The four-day exhibition covered an area of over 40,000 square meters and had more than 260 exhibitors. The furniture industry in Malaysia has developed rapidly and has now become the 8th largest exporter in the world and one of the top 10 producers globally. In 2017, furniture exports exceeded 10 billion Malaysian Ringgit, and the wood industry exports 23 billion Malaysian Ringgit. With abundant wood resources, the wood industry has become one of the important economic sectors in the local area.

It is ranked among the world's top ten furniture exporters, with 80% of the furniture produced for export. Among them, the United States, Japan, China and Australia are its main export destinations.
Tariff advantage: Under the framework of the ASEAN Certificate of Origin and RCEP, Chinese products enjoy zero tariffs or reduced tariffs when exported, which can significantly reduce the import cost of products and enhance their competitiveness in the Malaysian market.
Rich in resources: Malaysia is rich in wood resources, which is a major pillar of the country's industries. The furniture industry has a large export scale and ranks among the top in the world.
